Who can become a member of ICAÄ? Membership is open to any person who has roots in India or an interest in Indian culture. We welcome everyone regardless of gender, race, nationality, disability, religion, or belief.
How do I obtain a membership? You can become a member by paying the annual membership fee as decided by the ICAÄ board. Membership constitutes the foundation of our association and grants you vital rights within the organization.
How long is my membership valid? Membership is valid for one calendar year, running from January 1st to December 31st.
What are the benefits of being a member? As a registered member, you have the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM), provided you are over 18 years of age and your fees are fully paid.
Can I get a refund on my membership fee? No, membership fees are strictly non-refundable.
How is my personal data used? The membership register is a protected asset of the association. It is used exclusively in the best interests of the association and its members and is kept confidential by the board.
How can I terminate my membership? A member may terminate their membership at any time by notifying the ICAÄ board in writing.
Can the board cancel a membership? The ICAÄ board reserves the right to approve or cancel memberships. A membership may be terminated by the board if dues remain unpaid for more than a year despite two formal reminders.

The ICAÄ board maintains the constitution in a centralized location. If any member requires a full digital copy of the official ICAÄ Constitution for their records or would like to review the association's governing rules, please reach out to us.
